Jamboree Fees:

Non-Refundable Deposit of $250.00 is due to hold your place.

Payment Options:

Full Payment Option:

-          A full payment of $2,100 due before January 25, 2016

Three Installment Option:

-          Three payments of $725 (total - $2,175) are due on or before the following dates:

  • January 25, 2016
  • June 1, 2016
  • December 1, 2016

Monthly/Weekly Payment Option:

-          If you are looking for a monthly or weekly payment option you may wish to consider personal financing.  Contact your own financial institution or see the flyer from Members First Community Credit Union.  This institution has developed a financing program just for the Jamboree.  Please note that any financing that you pursue is your own responsibility and the Mississippi Valley Council has no connection to any financing through a financial institution.

  • Scouts and team members MUST have a current BSA membership with a Boy Scout troop or Varsity Scout team.
  • MUST be at least a First Class Scout.
  • MUST be at least 12 years of age by the first day of the Jamboree or an 11 year old that has graduated the 6th grade, but has not reached their 18th birthday by the last day of the Jamboree.
  • Be approved by the unit leader and local council.
  • MUST have appropriate parent/guardian to complete the online parental consent.  (An email will be sent to the parent/guardian during the application process.)
  • Participate in pre-Jamboree training experience with local council and unit leader.
  • Filed a BSA Health & Medical Record with their council within one year of attending the Jamboree.  (The local council will provide specifics closer to the Jamboree.)
  • Submit all registrations fees per the local council’s payment schedule.


The Mississippi Valley Council is required to make nonrefundable payments to the Jamboree and other vendors starting in January of 2016. Due to this commitment, we are unable to recover funds from cancellations without replacing the position with another Scout. Please note that all other open positions must be filled first. Refundable positions will be filled based on date of receipt of written request. Refund and payment policies are all subject to the National Council’s policies.

- Before January 25, 2016 – All payments returned except $250 nonrefundable deposit.

- January 25th – June 1, 2016 – All payments returned except $450 contingent upon replacement found, and $250 nonrefundable deposit.

- June 2nd – December 1, 2016 – All payments returned except $1,150 contingent upon replacement found, and $250 nonrefundable deposit.

- After December 1, 2016 – All payments returned contingent upon replacement found except $250 nonrefundable deposit.
